Monoclonal antibodies against foot‐and‐mouth disease virus RNA polymerase for detection of virus infection

نویسندگان

چکیده

Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) is a major viral in farm animals. In the present study, seven monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) were produced against FMD virus (FMDV)-encoded RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (3D protein) and characterized. Screening of mAb reactivity three overlapping fragments 3D protein expressed Escherichia coli revealed that binding sites all mAbs confined to N-terminal one-third protein. A selected was utilized for detecting FMDV infected cell culture tissues obtained from FMDV-infected

Potent neutralizing monoclonal antibodies against Ebola virus infection.

Ebola virus infections cause a deadly hemorrhagic disease for which no vaccines or therapeutics has received regulatory approval. Here we show isolation of three (Q206, Q314 and Q411) neutralizing monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against the surface glycoprotein (GP) of Ebola virus identified in West Africa in 2014 through sequential immunization of Chinese rhesus macaques and antigen-specific sing...

Production of monoclonal antibodies against recombinant nucleoprotein of avian influenza virus, serotype H9N2

Background: Avian influenza viruses (AIVs) including the subtype H9N2 cause considerable financial losses to poultry industries. Rapid and accurate diagnosis of avian influenza (AI) infection is important in control and eradication programs. OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study was to produce monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) specific for the nucleocapsid protein )NP (of AIV H9N2 subtype to improve dia...

Monoclonal antibodies against La Crosse virus.

Monoclonal antibodies have been used to show that an epitope is present on the G1 glycoprotein of prototype La Crosse virus that is absent or significantly altered on several isolates of La Crosse virus made in New York State, U.S.A. The portion of the G1 protein where this epitope is located plays a role in both virus neutralization and haemagglutination. Additional experiments revealed that u...

Characterization of monoclonal antibodies against Escherichia coli core RNA polymerase.

Multiple interactions with DNA, RNA and transcription factors occur in a transcription cycle. To survey the proximity of some of these factors to the Escherichia coli RNA polymerase surface, we produced a set of nine monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against the enzyme. These mAbs, located at different places on the surface of the enzyme, were used in a co-immunopurification assay to investigate int...
